Eden took part in her first event for Diabetes UK as a Young Leader with Together Type 1.
This truly inspirational group of young people work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide support for other young people living with Type 1 diabetes.
We are incredibly proud of how Eden has faced this life-limiting condition over the past 18 months. Diagnosed midway through her GCSEs, she has shown remarkable resilience and determination.
Now studying for her A Levels, Eden has gone on to volunteer with this fantastic organisation, meeting and supporting other young people with Type 1 and helping to make a real difference.
Her strength, positivity, and commitment are an inspiration to us all.

The Healthy Schools team are conducting research to better understand children and young people’s habits when it comes to hydration. As part of this work, we are keen to identify the challenges parents face when encouraging water consumption with children.
Their objective is to develop a resource campaign that supports both parents and schools.
We want to encourage parents to help their children adopt water-only habits before they begin school.
