Extra-Curricular

Our Aim

The extra-curricular activities at Sweyne Park are chosen to complement our educational curriculum. We aim to produce pupils that are well rounded in all areas and actively encourage our pupils to participate in a wide selection of activities.

Often extra-curricular activities are able to reach and engage with children in ways in which other aspects of school life are often unable to.

Activ8 Clubs

Sweyne Park school offers several clubs, which cover a wide range of interests. We believe is is important for students to participate in activities/clubs outside of the curriculum as it assists in developing their passions, talents and most importantly their interpersonal skills.

Arts Award

The Arts Award inspires creativity and self discovery in our students allowing them to grow both their arts and leadership skills. Designed to develop creative, well rounded students able to use their skills across the curriculum and then echo these throughout their life.

Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is internationally renowned and gives children with the opportunity to develop their leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills as well as allowing them to demonstrate their commitment.

Trips & Visits

At Sweyne Park School we are keen to offer pupils a wide and enjoyable experience and school visits can be a valuable part of this experience. We are proud of our rich extra-curricular offers and the wide range of trips and visits we offer.
