Welcome Back

I do hope that you all enjoyed the Easter break and spending time with your family and friends.

It is hard to believe that we are already in the Summer term and that we will shortly be into the swing of the external examination season.  With this in mind and with the first exams taking place next week, I would like to take the opportunity to wish all of our Year 11 pupils and Year 13 students the very best of luck and we all hope that their hard work will be justly rewarded with successful outcomes to open the door to the next stage of their journey.

Whilst exams may be starting, I would like remind you that for many years now schools have not been permitted to grant “study leave”.

This means that pupils and students will be expected to attend school as normal, attending lessons and/or revision sessions when not sitting an exam.  Thank you, in advance, for your support with this.

Year 10

Good luck to our Year 10 pupils who will be starting their 2 week’s work experience placements from Monday.

I know that they will be excellent ambassadors for the school and we will look forward to sharing some stories and photos before the end of term.
