School Uniform Donations

We are very proud of our school uniform, and value the sense of belonging and identity that pupils and students get from wearing it.  However, we are aware that with the rising costs of living, it can be difficult for families to always buy brand new items of uniform.

With this in mind, we are committed to ensuring access to the correct uniform is never a barrier to learning.

We have always supported families via lost property items and/or kind donations of second-hand school uniform.

However, in order to continue to support as many families as possible, we would be grateful for donations of any items of uniform that are in good condition. These will be then available for sale at a discounted rate to anyone who may need to make use of the facility.  The proceeds of any sales will go to the PTA.

If you do have any problems obtaining any items of school uniform, please do contact us, in the strictest of confidence, at pupilservices@sweynepark.com

Coming Soon

It is hard to believe that when we return we will be into the last term of the academic year and the exams period will begin in earnest for our Year 11 pupils and Year 13 students.

There are a number of events coming soon, so please do make a note in your diaries:

24th April                           Year 8 Parents’ Evening

7th May                              Year 13 Celebration Assembly

14th May                           Year 12 Post-16 Pathways Evening

15th May                           Year 10 Parents’ Evening

As always, we will provide further details for each event nearer the time.

New Minibus

Given the rising cost of providing transport for trips, visits and sporting fixtures, we have made the decision to acquire a new minibus for the school.

It has been a few years since we had the benefit of our original minibuses which had served the school for many years before age caught up with them!  Now that we have our new vehicle, we will have far greater flexibility and will be in a position to lower the cost of some trips and visits.

We are looking forward to getting out and about and it will be easy to spot us…..

Happy Easter

Thank you for all your ongoing support this term.

I wish you and your families a very happy Easter break and we will look forward to welcoming our pupils and students back to school at the usual time of 8.35 am on Tuesday 22nd April.
