Attendance - Automated Text Messaging System

As you will be aware, in order to improve attendance and communication with families we have, this week, introduced an automated text messaging service. As a reminder, if your child is absent from morning registration and we have not received a reason, you may receive a text asking you to contact the Attendance Team. This will help us respond more quickly to unexplained absences and reduce the need for first-day absence phone calls. During the initial trial, we accept that there may occasionally be messages sent in error if registers are updated after the text is generated. If this happens, please accept our apologies and contact us so we can update our records.

Please continue to report absences as early as possible by calling 01268 780293 or emailing pupilabsence@sweynepark.com. Thank you for your continued support in helping us promote excellent attendance.
