Animal Care Club

“On Wednesday afterschool year 7 and 8 pupils met for animal care club. We are very lucky to have some chick eggs in an incubator. The eggs are due to hatch the week beginning of 8^th May. So far at animal care club we have learnt about chick embryo development, how to care for them in an incubator and we will be learning about to care for them once they hatch. We had a competition, and the winners were able to name the chicks, we are excited to introduce you to: Fluffington, Tato, Nugget, Tikka, Omlette, Chicky Chucky and Peri Peri. On this page there is a live feed showing the eggs in the incubator, there is a possibility not all of these eggs will be viable and hatch, as we could not guarantee they were all fertilised, however we are very hopeful and excited for the arrival of our chicks.”
