We have had a very busy few weeks full of celebrations, including the wonderful Year 11 Prom last week and the Year 13 Celebration evening yesterday.
It has been fantastic to see our pupils and students marking the end of their various phases of education and a real privilege to join them in their celebrations.
Please do keep an eye on our Facebook page and Instagram account for a small selection of some of the photographs and videos of all of the celebratory events which have taken place in recent weeks.
Finally, thank you for everyone who came along to any of these events to support their children in their successes.
As per the communication sent out earlier today, the forecast for temperatures is lower next week than this. I would therefore ask that you send your child(ren) to school in their normal school uniform. Thank you, as always, for your support with this.
Next Tuesday, 14th July, we will be holding our annual Summer Concert which will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. It promises to be a wonderful showcase of our many and varied talented pupils and students and it is always a great event with which to kick start the summer.

The Government has, from 25th June to 1st September 2026, temporarily cut VAT from 20% to 5% on children’s meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, and admission to a wide range of attractions.
Combined with free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England, families and young people will be able to enjoy experiences that make summer special, including visits to the kinds of cultural and educational attractions that enrich children’s lives outside the classroom.

I wanted to remind you that the summer term will finish on Tuesday 21st July.
As was the case last year, pupils will be expected to wear full school uniform.
School will finish early at 12.15 pm.
