Open Evening

Thank you to all of our pupils and students who assisted us as departmental helpers or tour guides at last night’s Open Evening, they were such a credit to the school and the best possible ambassadors.  We have already received so much positive feedback about the evening itself and, specifically, about our polite, respectful, knowledgeable pupils and students who were all very proud to show our visitors all that our school has to offer.

Science at Sweyne Park School

On Friday 13 September we were delighted to welcome two classes of Year 6 pupils from Down Hall Primary school.

The pupils spent the morning learning about dissolving, filtration and evaporation.

The Year 6 pupils used a variety of equipment, including Bunsen burners to create copper sulphate crystals, expertly assisted by some fantastic Year 11 and Year 12 helpers.

We all had a brilliant day. The pupils from both Down Hall Primary School and The Sweyne Park School were a credit to themselves.
