Behaviour

The vast majority of our pupils comply superbly with our high expectations around behaviour and fully embrace our ethos of “Ready, Respectful, Safe” within our Rights Respecting Gold School.  From day one of Year 7, pupils are regularly reminded that we operate a “hands off” policy and we take this element of our Behaviour Policy extremely seriously in order to safeguard our school community.  Where pupils breach our policy, please can I remind you that they will be sanctioned in accordance with our Behaviour Policy (a copy of which is available on our website).

Business Awards Finalist

On the 26th of January, I attended Rochford district councils business awards evening. I was selected as a finalist for the entrepreneur of the year award for my Crochet business.
We celebrated the evening with a lovely sit down meal. After the meal they read out the winners. I was so shocked when they read out my name that I had won.

Miah H (The girl who loves to crochet)

WICKED Writing Competition

“You will be writing persuasively and be the change you
want to see!
This means writing about something you are passionate
about that could motivate the audience to make a change.

You could be asking for change in your school, in your
local community or worldwide. The trick is to write about something you have strong feelings towards as this will show in
your writing.”
