We have been delighted by the positive feedback from parents/carers about the information available on the Go4Schools App. As I have written previously, over the course of this year we will open up more features in order to strengthen our home-school links.
In light of this, from Monday 11th October, pupils will now be able to access their attendance and behaviour records. We firmly believe that sharing this will give a greater sense of ownership, and pupils will be able to see rewards for behaviour quickly.
Pupils will use their school email address and will be sent further login details next week to allow them to access the relevant information.
Relationship, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)
For the benefit of parents/carers with children new to the school, please can I ask you to take the time to read through our RSHE Policy, available on our website, by clicking here. We consulted on this policy this time last year, and have been working hard to embed the important content across the curriculum. This will continue to be a key focus for us in order to provide our pupils and students with the information they need to develop an understanding of healthy and nurturing relationships.
New Build Opening
It was with great pleasure that we hosted the official opening, by Essex County Council, of our new build last Friday afternoon. Whilst everyone was incredibly impressed with the ground-breaking design of the very first net-zero carbon school building in Essex, they were especially praiseworthy of our wonderful Sixth Formers and Year 11 Prefects. As always, our pupils and students were our greatest ambassadors, and I am most grateful to them for their ongoing commitment to the school.
And Finally …
Have a lovely weekend!
