Year 9

It has been an especially busy week for our Year 9 pupils with the range of events and opportunities taking place to prepare them for Key Stage 4.  We have all been highly impressed by their levels of engagement and maturity and hope that they are now feeling better informed about the option choices.

Many thanks to all the parents/carers who were able to join us for our Options Evening last night and for all the support you give your children.  As Dr Robertson said, if you do need any further guidance, regarding the options process, please do contact him directly or one of the Year 9 Team.

As a reminder, the deadline for submitting options choices is Friday 28th March. Please click here to access the link to the form, or scan the QR code.

Shrek! The Musical

We are all very much looking forward to the upcoming performances of Shrek the Musical next Tuesday and Wednesday.  The pupils have been working exceptionally hard and are very excited to have the opportunity to showcase all the talent.

It would be great if as many people as possible could come and show their support.  Tickets are still available from Pupil Services in advance, or on the door.  The cost is £8 for an individual ticket, or £25 for four people.  Doors open at 6.30pm and the performance starts at 7pm.

Good luck to everyone involved.

Year 7 & Under 14 Hockey Match

Our year 7 team had their first ever hockey game at the districts and came 2nd overall!

Our U14 team also secured 2nd place! They faced intense penalty shootouts in both the semi-finals and finals, ultimately losing out in a sudden death round.

Both teams played exceptionally well, showing outstanding skill and an incredible team spirit throughout the day. The girls really worked together and gave their all.!

We couldn’t be prouder of their performance!

Next week, the Caterlink menu will be ‘Week 3’.
