Strike Days

Thank you to everyone for your forbearance this week with the Strike Days.  At the time of writing, there does not appear to have been any movement towards an agreement between the Unions and the Government on Teachers’ Pay & Conditions. Equally, there have not been any further days of industrial action announced.  However, that may well change in the future and I will, of course, update you further as and when necessary.

Coming Soon….

Please note below some key dates for your diary:

Thursday 30th March Year 8 Parents’ Evening
Monday 3rd April – Friday 14th April Easter Holidays
Monday 17th April – Friday 28th April Year 10 Work Experience

Tuesday 2nd May  Year 7 Rewards Evening

Year 11 Exam Preparation

Mr Price and Mrs Welch have reported that the Year 11 Examination Preparation event on Tuesday evening was well attended, and thank you to everyone who was able to join.  We have received very positive feedback in terms of the revision strategies that were shared to enable parents/carers to support their child(ren) in preparing for the forthcoming external examinations.  For those parents/carers who were not able to attend, please click here to access a copy of the Revision Strategies Handbook that was circulated.

Year 10 Exams

Good luck to all of our Year 10 pupils who start their exams on Thursday 23rd March.  These exams will run up to and including Thursday 30th March.  Pupils have been provided with a copy of the exam timetable, and I am sure they will all to their very best and benefit from the experience in advance of their formal, external examinations next year.

You could be asking for change in your school, in your

your writing.”
