As a Science Specialist School, the Sweyne Park School's mission is:
To provide a rich scientific thinking environment for pupils, staff, parents and members of the wider community, enabling exploration of technological and scientific advances in the 21st Century.
To extend and enrich the pupils' curriculum, enabling them to become confident learners, ready to embrace new scientific ideas and offer their own interpretations and innovations.
To work with businesses and post-16 educators to increase the number of young people pursuing science-based careers and thus contribute to our future society.
To be a centre for lifelong learning in the community, by providing a range of educational classes and events to meet the needs of, and inspire, the local community and to share with primary, secondary and post-16 educational establishments the high-achieving learning culture that has been nurtured since Sweyne Park School's formation in 1997.
To promote excellence in teacher training throughout the South Essex region and beyond by sharing current best practice.
It has been put together by our Year 7s and is filled with information for anyone wanting to come to the Sweyne Park School.
Sweyne Park is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
