Are the pupils listened to?

Yes they are. Each class has two class councillors on Year Council and out of these there are four people picked to be on the School Council.

At our council meetings we talk about any subjects we would like to get involved in or are worrying us. We all decide as a group who will be Chairman, and we don’t just give our opinions but try to represent our tutor groups' views.

All you need to do is tell your councillors about things you would like to see in the future and things you have not been keen on, and get your voice heard. We have meetings every other week so if you need something it will not take long to sort it out.

Pupils can write articles for Sweyne Park Times and take part in lots of competitions where we give our views.

Throughout the yeat teachers will be asking for feedback on how pupils are finding lessons.

Visitors to the school love touring and talking with pupils. (Pupils love showing them round too!)
