Our new culture section features online links and resources for a wide range of cultural activities in the arts. Art, Music, Books, Film, Design, Stage and Dance each have a section devoted to them.

See what resources are available to support research and home learning in these areas. Find out more about career opportunities too. What are the next steps if you are interested in working in the arts?

Each section has a series of image links to help you navigate the key resources. As with all sites, this will change from time to time as new information comes online.

We’ll keep you informed about activities that are going on in and outside school.

The arts is a multi-billion pound industry and is one of Britain’s most successful industries with up to 10,000 new jobs for young people being created in the cultural sector as part of a £1.1 billion future jobs fund.

Developing an interest in the arts whilst at school will help foster a life long ability to access such an important part of society. The arts cross social, cultural and economic divides both nationally and internationally.

Get in touch with the arts today and explore a whole new world of opportunities tomorrow!

Pupils can visit the Culture site on the VLE logo
