Admissions Policy:
There is no guarantee of a place for children living in the priority admission area. In the event of over-subscription any remaining places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given:
Children Looked After;
Children living in the priority admission area with a sibling attending the school;
Other children living in the priority admission area;
Other children living outside the priority admission area with a sibling attending the school;
Remaining applicants.
In the event of over subscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given highest priority. Exceptional medical circumstances (supported by medical evidence) may override the above.
Up to five places in each year group are allocated for pupils with hearing impairments who are placed at the school due to its enhanced provision.
It has been put together by our Year 7s and is filled with information for anyone wanting to come to the Sweyne Park School.
Sweyne Park... is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
